Children’s Wishing Well is a digital platform which brings together needy children and the donating public to help fulfill the children’s specific needs.
It is Singapore’s first online donation portal that acts as the modern-day online equivalent of a magic wishing well.
Here’s how it works: The children supported by the program will post their wishes on the portal.
The details of each child’s wish will be displayed, along with the proposed gift or solution that the child needs and how much it will cost.
Donors will have the opportunity to interact with the children during the disbursement ceremony, thus allowing a face to face interaction with the beneficiary.
Members of the public can browse through the children’s wishes, and if they choose to fulfill them, they can do so by donating either online or through cheque payments addressed to the Student Advisory Centre.
